Responsibilities :
Network Management :
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Manage VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Server and Systems Administration :
• Maintain and update servers (e.g., Windows, Linux) and ensure optimal performance.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage virtual environments and cloud services as needed.
Security Management :
• Monitor and enforce IT security policies, including antivirus and data protection protocols.
• Regularly update systems to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
• Manage user access controls, including password policies and authentication protocols.
Hardware and Software Maintenance :
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Manage software licensing and ensure compliance.
• Assist in software installation and troubleshooting.
Technical Support :
• Provide first-line support for user issues across departments, responding to help desk requests.
• Assist users with troubleshooting and provide training on software and hardware as needed.
Documentation and Reporting :
• Document configurations, procedures, and issues, creating knowledge bases for common issues.
• Generate reports on system performance, usage, and incidents.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and update records as required.
