Job Title: IT Administrator

Overview:
As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and administration of the organization's IT infrastructure. You will ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems, networks, and equipment, as well as provide technical support to employees. Additionally, you will be involved in implementing security measures to protect the organization's data and systems from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
Network Administration:
Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
User Support:
Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with IT-related queries.
Set up and configure new user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions.
Conduct user training sessions to enhance IT literacy and productivity.
Data Backup and Recovery:
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
Test backup systems regularly to verify their effectiveness in restoring data in case of system failures or data loss.
Security Management:
Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
Monitor for security breaches and respond promptly to security incidents.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Generate reports on IT performance, security incidents, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role in 3+yrs of exp..
Proficiency in administering Windows, Linux, or Unix-based systems.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) is desirable.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
