Roles and Responsibilities:

• Iron Fabrication and Processing:
• Perform cutting, shaping, bending, and welding of iron components based on specifications.
• Operate tools and machinery, such as shears, presses, grinders, and welding equipment, to fabricate iron structures.
• Blueprint and Specification Interpretation:
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
• Follow precise measurements to ensure the final product meets specifications.
• Assembly of Iron Structures:
• Assemble and fit iron parts to construct frameworks, supports, and other structures.
• Use fastening methods, such as bolting or welding, to secure parts together.
• Machinery Operation:
• Operate machinery like CNC cutters, drills, or hydraulic presses used in ironworking processes.
• Maintain equipment settings for optimal performance and precision.
• Inspection and Quality Assurance:
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in fabricated items.
• Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Report major equipment malfunctions to supervisors for immediate attention.
• Material Handling:
• Load and unload raw materials or finished products using lifting devices or manually when necessary.
• Ensure materials are stored and transported safely to prevent damage.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure a safe working environment by keeping the workspace organized and free of hazards.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Communicate progress and challenges to the supervisor or production manager.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
• Support other departments, such as quality control or logistics, when needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with ironworking tools and machinery, including CNC machines and welding equipment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Physical Fitness: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials safely.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision.
• Experience: Previous experience in ironwork or metal fabrication is preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
