Job and Resposibilities:

Advise clients on copyrights, trademarks, and patents

Research existing intellectual property rights

Prepare and file applications to register intellectual property

Negotiate contracts and agreements involving intellectual property

Protect clients' intellectual property rights in court

Advise clients on infringement and other legal issues

Monitor changes in intellectual property law

Advise clients on licensing and merchandising

Counsel clients on intellectual property law, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Draft, review, and file legal documents, such as patent applications, trademark registration applications, and copyright registrations.

Conduct research and analysis for intellectual property law matters.

Negotiate and resolve disputes between clients and third parties.

Assisted senior attorneys in intellectual property matters.

Prepared patent and trademark applications and office action responses.

Conducted legal research and drafted legal memoranda.

• Knowledge of practice in laws relating to the Industry viz. FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Competition Law, Consumer Protection Law, Litigation, Contracts, M&A shall be of added advantage. Giving inputs/ suggestions in preparing strategies for new applications and to contest overcome opposition/ objections on the trademark applications.
• Conduct worldwide search for adoption of trademark & inform the management about its availability.
• Liaising with the Indian and & Foreign attorneys.

Manage stakeholders and collaborate with global law firms on intellectual property rights (IPR) issues.

Provide strategy in patents, designs, trademarks, and copyright matters, including conducting various searches and risk assessments.

Draft and vet patent specifications/applications, handle IP-related litigations, and enforce IP rights.

Ensure timely renewal and protection of patents, designs, and trademarks.

Desired Skills:

Should have 5 to 6 years or more of post-qualification experience as a IP/ patent lawyer in a reputable IP law firm, or in-house experience with the legal department, preferably in a multinational company

Should have expertise in handling IPR related matters (patents, designs, trademarks), from filing for registration of IP to handling disputes in various jurisdictions

Sound legal knowledge and analytical approach to legal issues (exposure to project management)

Experience of working in an IP law firm.

Strong communication and drafting skills and fluency in English (both written and oral).

Able to work in the team

Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Must be excellent in MS office and comfortable with new technology

Provide legal advice on valuable intellectual property rights such as patents, technical data, trade secrets, licenses, copyrights and trademark

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
