Recruiter:Hiring Manager:Career Grade:Internal Closing Date:Why this job mattersThe Infrastructure Engineering Specialist independently works with Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) technologies, executing the vision of key technologies within the infrastructure landscape.What you\'ll be doingThe candidate should be good at the below-mentioned technologies.
- Routing and Switching
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, and static routing.
- Strong knowledge of STP, VTP, VLANs, Tunnelling, EtherChannel, Port span, IP-Subnetting, Hsrp, Vrrp, VPC, and VDC.
- Strong knowledge of l2vPN, l3VPN, MP-BGP, and MPLS.
- Strong knowledge of Internet peering
Design, Troubleshooting, and Implementation Experience: The candidate should have good hands-on experience in network design-related work, network troubleshooting, and implementation.
- Strong experience and understanding of the network design life-cycle.
- Good at writing HLDs and LLDs
- Good at understanding different kinds of network architecture.
- Good understanding of managing stakeholders and owning the project from end to end.
Excellent knowledge of Mobility technical areas of work
- Core, RAN, IP or VASI, Network Support, Facility Services
- Able to fully describe the key elements of a mobile network and understand how the components function and interact.
- Understand the detail of how a call is made and received over the network and the systems it touches en route.
- Very good knowledge of the Testing and Project Life-cycles.
- Significant experience of Operation & Maintenance.
- Able to interpret and implement complex transport designs within test and proof of concept networks
- Ansible Automation.
- Mobile Backhaul Networking.
Add-on Experience:
- It is good to have experience in the security domain.
- Good knowledge of checkpoint FW, Fortinet FW, and big-IP load balancers.
Vendor experience: Must have hands-on experience with the below vendors.
- Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Dell, Nexus, Cat-Switches, Checkpoint, Fortinet, BigIP, and BIGIQ
Certification: Any Certification adds more value.
