Nexgensis is seeking an experienced IoT Engineer with knowledge of industrial automation and computer vision. We specialize in automating production lines, enhancing security systems, and product automation using computer vision technologies. Join our team to integrate computer vision with industrial PLC controllers like Mitsubishi and Siemens, with Python knowledge as an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Industrial Automation Integration: Integrate computer vision technologies into industrial automation systems, collaborating with the engineering team and utilizing PLCs such as Mitsubishi and Siemens.

Computer Vision Development: Design, train, and deploy computer vision algorithms for object detection, recognition, tracking, and image analysis to optimize automation processes.

System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems with existing industrial automation systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation.

Software Development: Develop Python-based software tools, scripts, and applications to support industrial automation and computer vision projects.

Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and optimization of automation systems to ensure reliability and accuracy. Document configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields..
PLC Integration: Knowledge of integrating automation systems with PLCs like Mitsubishi and Siemens.
Computer Vision Expertise: Proficiency in computer vision algorithm development, object detection, recognition, and tracking. Familiarity with frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch is a plus.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python programming. Knowledge of C++ is a bonus.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automation systems.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, and learn new technologies.
