Job Description

An Internet of Things (IoT) developer intern's responsibilities include:

• Designing IoT solutions Researching and selecting hardware, software, protocols, and platforms to create IoT solutions that meet client requirements
• Developing software Writing software for IoT devices to gather data, communicate with other devices, and perform actions
• Testing and debugging Testing IoT systems, identifying and resolving issues, and optimizing performance
• Integrating IoT solutions Integrating IoT solutions into existing infrastructure or other IoT ecosystems
• Collaborating with others Working with a team of developers, project managers, UX designers, system administrators, and analysts
• Researching new technologies Researching new technologies and incorporating them into products and systems
• Improving efficiency Improving the efficiency and functionality of current products and systems
• Creating documentation Creating documentation for IoT systems that includes tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
• Staying up to date Staying updated on the latest developments in IoT technology

IoT developers need to have a blend of software and hardware expertise. They may use tools like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, MQTT, Node-RED, and AWS IoT.
