Summary:We are looking for an experienced iOS Principal Engineer with a strong technical background and expertise in building high-performance video streaming applications for iOS Mobile and Apple TV platforms. As a technical leader, you will take ownership of designing and developing scalable, user-centric applications while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence.This role requires a deep understanding of iOS frameworks, exceptional coding skills, and hands-on experience with video streaming technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and engaging video experiences to users. You will lead cutting-edge projects and shape the technical roadmap for iOS development.Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Design & Development

• xc2xb7 Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in Swift, following best practices.
• xc2xb7 Optimize app performance for responsiveness, scalability, and resource efficiency.
• 2. Technical Leadership
• xc2xb7 Lead the design and implementation of complex features, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.
• xc2xb7 Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
• xc2xb7 Stay updated with the latest iOS technologies and video streaming advancements, integrating them into projects where applicable.
• 3. Collaboration
• xc2xb7 Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• xc2xb7 Collaborate with QA to ensure that delivered features meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• 4. Video Streaming Expertise

• xc2xb7 Integrate and customize video playback frameworks like AVFoundation and third-party players.
• xc2xb7 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to playback, buffering, and content delivery.
• 5. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

• 6. Release Management

• Educational Background:
• xc2xb7 Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience:
• xc2xb7 8 to 12 years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on video streaming applications.
• xc2xb7 Proven experience delivering high-quality apps for iOS Mobile and Apple TV.
• Technical Skills:
• xc2xb7 Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• xc2xb7 Strong understanding of iOS frameworks like UIKit, SwiftUI, and Core Data.
• xc2xb7 Deep knowledge of AVFoundation, HLS, DRM, and adaptive streaming technologies.
• xc2xb7 Experience with API integration using REST or GraphQL.
• xc2xb7 Expertise in optimizing video playback performance and troubleshooting streaming-related issues.
• xc2xb7 Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks for iOS.
