Were looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Primary Position ResponsibilitiesDesign and build iOS applications for Apple mobile platformsUse object-oriented development principles in Swift to reach project solutionsEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automationWork and collaborate effectively on a team including remote team membersRegularly maintain iOS applications via debugging and continuous updatesBasic Position QualificationsBachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline.Professional experience delivering software solutions that span the development life cycle; i.e., project initiation, design, development, testing, deployment, support, and retirement.5 years of experience in mobile app developmentExperience working with and implementing Core Bluetooth iOS framework-based solutionsA fleshed-out portfolio of software development projectsStrong Swift, iOS SDK, Objective-C programming skills and experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.Expertise with Object Oriented Programming, multithreading, data serialization and REST APIsFamiliarity with MVVM, Solid and other architectural patternsCollaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new featuresProficient with Swift and Cocoa TouchExperience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuningFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end servicesKnowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standardsUnderstanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelinesExperience with performance and memory tuning with toolsFamiliarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsCan write, perform, or automate unit testsExperience working with IoT Applications.Knack for benchmarking and optimizationProficient understanding of code versioning toolsFamiliarity with continuous integration (CI/CD)Knowledge related to publishing Apps on the App StoreAdditional Skills/PreferencesExperience implementing solutions using more advanced iOS platform features including the use Apple Core ML, Augmented reality solutions and voice-based solutionsExperience developing and/or supporting Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions.Demonstrated ability to live in the gray space -- when process and direction does not dictate an ideal course of action xe2x80x93 and make reasonable, risk-based decisions that keep projects on track.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and how to effectively deliver software within the processes and expectations of those systems.Practical knowledge of Agile software development concepts and associated implementations.High level of intellectual curiosity, external perspective, and innovation interestPrevious experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and/or environments regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration.Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
