As the Portfolio analytics Professional in our Investment and Research Team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job responsibilities

• Work in quantitative analytics team to manage and enhance proprietary risk models and analytical tools for portfolio performance and risk management.
• Quantitative and Statistical research on portfolio management and analytics related products
• Work on Ad Hoc requests and queries related to model output and how to use the model.
• Provide support to Portfolio Management, Portfolio Governance, Risk Management teams within the Wealth Management business.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, fluid

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Understanding of financial markets, financial products, macro-economic events and market historical events
• Intermediate to Advance programming skills in Python, SQL and BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik
• Broad capital markets experience across asset classes (equity, fixed income, alternative assets) and risk profiles (conservative, aggressive, balanced, growth, value)
• Analytical experience, with a focus on statistical analysis, financial modelling or other investment related analysis, and strong proficiency in Microsoft office

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Understanding of Market Risk, Macro-economic risk across asset classes preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in analytics or data insights-related role, Investment and/or risk management experience preferred. CFA/ FRM or MBA Finance preferred
• Broad knowledge of various data vendors, including MSCI, Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar etc.
