Job Description

The Inventory Executive is responsible for managing, tracking, and optimizing inventory levels of irrigation products and components such as pipes, valves, pumps, sprinklers, and fittings. This role ensures that stock levels are accurate and adequate to meet operational and customer requirements without overstocking or understocking.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels across warehouses and project sites. Record and update inventory data in ERP or inventory management systems. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment. Conduct regular stock audits, physical verification, and reconciliation. Track movement of inventory, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods. Generate inventory reports, highlighting slow-moving or excess stock. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and classification of all irrigation materials. Support project teams by ensuring timely availability of required materials. Maintain documentation of inventory transactions, including GRNs, delivery challans, and material transfer notes. Identify inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Follow safety and quality control procedures in material handling.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the agriculture or irrigation sector. Hindi is mandatory. Familiarity with irrigation components (drip systems, pumps, filters, etc.) is a plus. Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., Tally, SAP or similar). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in warehouse and field environments when needed. Knowledge of basic accounting and stock valuation methods.
