Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a CCTV Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, surveillance technology, and security operations. As a CCTV Intern, you will work closely with our experienced team to learn, support, and contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of our CCTV systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, cameras, and related equipment.
• Learn to operate and manage video surveillance software platforms and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to perform routine system checks, testing, and calibration of cameras and recording devices.
• Support the identification and resolution of technical issues, including camera malfunctions, network connectivity, and storage-related problems.
• Learn to analyze camera footage and assist in incident investigations, ensuring the preservation of video evidence.
• Gain proficiency in monitoring live video feeds and responding to alerts or alarms.
• Assist in the documentation of CCTV system configurations, setup procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Learn about best practices in physical security and video surveillance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and potential improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CCTV systems with other security technologies.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in security systems, video surveillance, and technology.
• Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with computer hardware, software installations, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Duration: This is a [6 -12 months] internship position. Start and end dates are flexible to accommodate academic schedules and company needs.

Compensation: This is a paid internship position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
