General requirement : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Intern to join our Vehicle engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced mechanical engineers to assist in the design and development of automotive sub-systems. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with 7+ CGPA Exposure of Solidworks, Autocad, Ansys & Fabrication of mechanical components. Should have worked in a technical team for competitions such as BAJA/SUPRA/Go-Kart/Robocon etc. Should assist Senior Designers in 3D models and engineering drawings. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop prototypes for new product concepts. Participate in the testing and refinement of prototypes to meet design specifications. Perform basic analysis and simulations to assess the structural integrity and performance of designed components. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall product design. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design processes, including drawings, specifications, and test reports. Actively participate in problem-solving sessions to address design challenges and propose effective solutions. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in mechanical design. Should be willing to travel to vendor locations for parts procurement and prototyping. Qualifications: Currently pursuing / Fresher in Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or similar tools). Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and materials. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
