1. JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications and Branding Intern. This role is crucial in managing vendor relationships and administrative tasks specific to our communications and branding outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the non-profit sector and a keen understanding of communications and branding principles. You will play a vital role in ensuring our branding initiatives are executed smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
2. Duties and Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
• Identify design, print, and branding vendors using sources such as catalogs and the Internet and work with them to gather information about the products / Services to be ordered and maintain a database of vendors.
• Collect Quotations, prepare financial comparatives, and assist in preparing Technical Comparative reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for Vendor Registration forms, POs / Contracts / Invoices, and work completion reports, as well as samples and deliveries.
• Follow up with Finance for Advance payments and final payment for vendors.
• Preparation of MIS report to track POs and Contracts.
Event Support
• Prepare pre-, during- and post-event checklists of items and activities for conferences and THF events.
• Ensure timely logistic arrangements for THF events - such as transport, guest management, and management of branded collaterals.
• Carry out any other task assigned from time to time as per the organizational requirement.
• Manage communication channels such as messages & comments on social media platforms, emails, and telephone calls according to pre-defined protocols.
• Any other work assigned by the organization.
3. Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications • Minimum qualification - Bachelor's Degree
• 0 to 2 years of Experience
• Understanding of the non-profit sector or a willingness to learn.
• Understanding of the Communications Department
• Good Written, Verbal, and telephonic communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
