We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced International Travel Consultant with a strong background in sales to join our team. As an International Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel advice, creating customized travel itineraries, and driving sales to meet revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have a passion for travel, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to sell international travel experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
• Provide personalized travel advice and recommendations based on client needs.
• Create detailed and customized travel itineraries for international destinations, considering accommodations, transportation, activities, and special requests.
• Present itineraries in a clear and compelling manner to clients.
• Actively promote and sell international travel packages, emphasizing the unique experiences and value-added services.
• Meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management.
• Stay informed about international travel destinations, trends, and industry developments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa requirements, travel restrictions, and other relevant information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire travel planning and booking process.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly.
• Prepare regular sales reports and contribute to performance analysis.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant with a focus on international destinations.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of international travel destinations, cultures, and travel industry trends.
• Familiarity with travel booking systems and technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
