The International Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand the company's market presence and drive revenue growth in international markets. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the rice industry, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and a result-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion: Identify and develop new international markets for the company's rice products, establishing strong relationships with distributors, importers, and key stakeholders.
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to specific international markets to achieve sales targets and business growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Sales Targets: Drive sales to meet or exceed revenue targets, regularly reviewing performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
Negotiations: Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms with international clients, ensuring favourable outcomes for the company.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities.
Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback, providing insights to senior management.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the international sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all international sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including proper documentation and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in international sales, with at least 1 year in the rice industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the international market for Rice.
Strong understanding of global rice markets, including key export regulations and market dynamics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Result-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and achieve goals.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
