We proudly design and build our products in the USA The International Customer Support Associate knows and performs all the aspects of his/her department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for over 75 emails a day in conjunction with 15 to 30 calls.
Responsible for extensive data entry and acknowledgment of customer orders.
Schedule tool delivery, review for accuracy, and file accordingly.
Handle Data Entry into Excel and Great Plains
Expedite orders with purchasing to meet customer deadlines for items not in stock
Customers are end users, distributors, independent and corporate-owned offices, and sales representatives.
Primarily and office environment but some issues will need to be resolved in the warehouse, checking stock, etc.
Experience with MS Excel and great Data Entry ability.
Preparation of all necessary documentation to ship good internationally according to each countries regulations.
Coordinating with transportation companies, the warehouse and distributors to release and deliver shipments in a timely manner.
Fulfilment of Logistics functions such as booking shipments, tracing shipments, delivery requirements for a shipment etc
Cover/help with workload when co-works are out or behind.
Invoice all shipments within 24 hours of the cargo leaving the dock.
Filling AES fillings with couriers
Shipping using UPS, FedEx, DHL and forwarders via air freight and sea freight.
Shipping of lithium ion batteries and batteries packed with equipment. Certification is desirable but not necessary.
Ensure attestation of shipping documents in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinating all the aspects of a shipment with Letter of Credit Terms to the specifications mentioned on the letter of credit.
Follow up on shipping instructions for pending shipments from distributors to try to move shipments out the door in a short period of time.
Keep record of all necessary documentation with regards to a shipment and file it appropriately once the shipment has been completed and invoiced.
Education/Experience Required
Graduate in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience handling imports of good and local distribution of goods.
Knowledge about various supply channels and shipping methods is mandatory.
Computer Skills Necessary
Microsoft Office, WMS, CRM, ERP
Physical Demands/Requirements
Occasional light work in the warehouse.
