Be in the driverxe2x80x99s seat of your career as the Head of International Finance with the industry leader- and build a career you can trust.The Head of International Finance will play a key leadership role in developing our international finance function. This leader will build our India finance function with an initial focus on the final stages of our payroll implementation, procure-to-pay, processing new vendor set-up, processing accounts payable, expense reporting, accounting for fixed assets, and coordinating certain outsourced activities.Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead India accounting and finance functions, including vendor management, purchasing, accounts payable, travel and expense management, processing, reporting, analytics, and payroll accounting and reporting.
  • Provide financial oversight of the facility build-out project for the new Gurgaon facility
  • Statutory reporting for the India legal entity, as well as statutory reporting for the UK and Mexico
  • Collaborate with corporate finance and accounting on driving cost reductions through establishing increasing areas of responsibility in the Gurgaon finance and accounting team
  • Collaborate with leaders in Gurgaon and elsewhere to provide advice and insight into business performance.
  • Collaborate with the HR and legal entity compliance leaders in India to provide leadership to the Gurgaon team and exemplify world-class ethics and standards.
  • Interact closely with leadership to determine if the execution of their business plans and growth objectives is evolving as planned.
  • Engage with the team to ensure that system integration needs are met
  • Assist in the collection of receivables and implement policies to reduce DSOs
  • Collaborate with FP&A to manage capital planning and ROI analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, respond to external audit requests, and provide recommendations to improve the internal control structure continuously
  • Develop and maintain finance and accounting best practices
  • Statutory reporting outside the US, including in India, the UK, and Mexico, and to assist with financial reporting in Japan, Spain, and Australia.
  • Collaborate with operational and HR leaders in India to monitor the business performance, productivity, and financial metrics of India's operations to provide insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Chartered Accountant required
  • Experience in multi-national companies with HQ in the US
  • Experience in building and leading accounting and shared services teams in India
  • Experience in leading compliance needs and statutory reporting in India, UK, and Mexico
  • Experience managing operational projects
  • Hands-on experience with implementation, development, and support experience with NetSuite and related systems
  • A sense of urgency with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills with a proven track record of successful collaboration and effectively managing group dynamics and interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute operationally and strategically to the development and execution of business strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues
  • Executive presence necessary to work with senior level management and the Board
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and complex work processes and thrive in a growing company
  • Ability to analyze problems, exercise judgment, make sound objective decisions, and implement solutions at both a strategic and functional level
