Job Summary: The International Air Ticket Manager is responsible for managing and facilitating international flight reservations and ticketing processes for clients. This role involves coordinating with airlines, handling customer inquiries, processing bookings, and ensuring compliance with international travel regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international travel procedures, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reservation Management:
• Assist clients in booking international flights, including issuing, amending, and canceling tickets.
• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Galileo to search for and confirm flight availability.
• Provide accurate fare quotations and ensure compliance with airline policies and procedures.
• Customer Service:
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to international travel.
• Offer expert advice on travel options, visa requirements, and baggage policies.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and timely service.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Ensure all ticketing procedures comply with international regulations and airline policies.
• Prepare and verify travel documents, including visas, passports, and travel insurance.
• Keep updated with changes in international travel regulations and airline policies.
• Coordination with Airlines and Partners:
• Liaise with airlines and other travel service providers to manage bookings and resolve issues.
• Monitor flight schedules, availability, and changes to keep clients informed.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions, customer interactions, and financial transactions.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in air ticketing or travel industry, especially with international bookings, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using GDS systems ( Galileo ) and travel booking software.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of international travel regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume transactions efficiently.
• Languages:
Proficiency in English
