- BCM ManagerPosition OverviewThe BCM Manager will manage the Business Continuity Management team and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive business continuity, vendor resilience, and disaster recovery programs. This role requires extensive experience in Business Continuity Management and the ability to coordinate and manage multiple internal stakeholders and support in solutioning recovery strategies. The BCM Manager will report to the BCM Leader and ensure all business impact analysis, business continuity plans and activities align with organizational requirements.Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the business continuity program, including policies, plans and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's operations, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of BIAs and BC Plans for all Segments/Line of Service, Platforms and Practices across ACs in India.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and ensure bi-annual tool-based certification of all existing Processes and Plans across the ACs and ensure timely completion.
  • Actively participate in the internal and external audits like the client initiated, ISO standards and ensure preparedness from the process and documentation standpoint.
  • Maintain up to date contact information of the incident/crisis management, business recovery, emergency response and other BCM teams.
  • Oversee compliance to the defined metrics and review program execution and identify areas of improvement.
  • Manage the defined BCM induction, trainings, and awareness initiatives in coordination with relevant stakeholders like the Human Capital and Communications Team.
  • Manage the drill calendar and ensure coverage of drills, trainings and exercises through the year across the ACs and publish related MIS.
  • Ensure adequate participation and moderation of tabletop drills and exercises, develop apt scenarios to help members of the organization to be better prepared to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor disaster alerts and events across the country and convene the BCM team during incidents like train accidents, cyclone, urban flooding etc. and deploy the Everbridge or email communication to impacted employees and follow-up on their responses.
  • Flexible to support off office hours during disruptions tasks may include information gathering, engage relevant stakeholders, track and follow the event to closure and MIS.
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to business continuity management, and make recommendations for enhancements to the program as necessary.
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Around 10 to 15 years of work experience with good knowledge of business continuity management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Knowledge of vendor resilience would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across the ACs.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to win stakeholders consent and meet tight deadlines along with managing teams.
  • Proficiency in using business continuity management software such as Fusion and Mass Communication tools such as Everbridge and other technologies would be preferred.
  • Thorough attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and resources effectively.
Certification
  • Industry-recognized Business Continuity Management-related Certifications from BCI, DRI, ISO, or other similar certifying bodies.
