Read more: .We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Analyst III (Data Analytics) to join our team in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards and reports using data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx and Automation Anywhere or UiPath to support the Group Internal Audit function and ensure data-driven decision-making and insights. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualization and artificial intelligence (AI), and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

  • General: Support the Senior Manager, Audit Risk Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in developing and implementing data analytics and AI strategies and techniques to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal audit activities and processes. Utilize advanced analytics and AI to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks. Support the acceleration of AI and generative AI adoption within the internal audit team.
  • Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau/Power BI and other dashboards and reports for internal audit purposes.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights relevant to internal audits.
  • Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Tableau, Power BI ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Design and develop AI use cases to enable internal audit team increase efficiency, and provide data driven risk insights faster.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal audit team members to understand data analytics requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau/Power BI and other dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data sources, data models, and dashboard functionalities.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal audit team members on how to use Tableau /Power BI and other dashboards and interpret data insights.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of dashboards to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in AI, data analysis and visualization, with a strong focus on using Tableau/Power BI.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Alteryx, and Automation Anywhere or UiPath.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing AI strategies and use cases for internal auditing.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
Desired Skills:
  • Programming: Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the industry.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
