The Expand ELEVATE (Engaging Local Experts in Validating and Analyzing TB-data to End TB) is a CDC (Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention) supported project managed by PATH (Program for Appropriate Technology in Health) under the guidance of the CTD (Central Tuberculosis Division). Under the project, technical assistance is provided to strengthen the NTEP (National Tuberculosis Elimination Program)xe2x80x99s ability to rely on its data and undertake data analysis to support TB elimination activities at local levels. The project has been in implementation since July 2021 across eleven states of India (Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim and West Bengal) and it set to expand to new geographies of Assam, Chandigarh, Punjab and Tamil Nadu. PATH is looking to hire an intern to be placed in the new geographies.Overall learning goals and responsibilities for the Intern include but are not limited to:Develop a broad understanding of the National Tuberculosis Elimination programme in the public health ecosystem in India.Perform Data Analysis for informed decision-making and provide technical assistance to state.Undertake capacity building of health staff on data analytics.Perform supportive supervision through in-person visits and virtual mentoring.Coordination and rapport establishment with different stakeholders.Ensure Program Deliverables are on track by deploying and supporting Project management processes and participating in planning discussions.Develop Technical reports and briefs on project activities.Skills to be developed and/or expanded during Internship:Data analysisTechnical assistance and supportive supervisionCapacity building skillsTechnical report writingProject ManagementPresentation skillsStrategic thinking skillsRequired Experience:The Intern should possess the following skills and experience to perform their activities:Masterxe2x80x99s Degree (MPH/MHA/ or similar degrees).Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis Skills.High Level of Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prepare and deliver good presentations.Ability to work on group as well as individual assignments in hybrid work environment.Ability to manage ambiguity and work in a fast-paced work environment.Strong Self-Motivation.Duration: Six months (Full-Time), Hiring on a rolling basisLocation: Remote (Chennai)PATH is dedicated to building an inclusive workforce where diversity is valued.PATH is an equal opportunity employer.
