VEO is an essential contributor to medicines development and commercialization. VEO builds a deep understanding of patient populations, patient, payer, and provider needs and develops Value Evidence Plans that describe how those needs and associated challenges will be resolved. VEO also supports global franchises and regional and local teams to ensure that local evidence requirements are met. To achieve our Vision, our Mission is to: Facilitate access to RWD & patient insights using emerging digital technologies and drive acceptance of RWE for decision making through leadership of Get Real Focus on delivery of quality data from sponsored and investigator sponsored studies on time and on budget and in accordance with legislation to ensure high quality evidence packages Lead efficient business performance across VEO by implementing disciplined project management, financial management and resource management and deliver critical business insights through robust data management and analytics Simplify, improve and document VEO processes to decrease risk & optimize how VEO delivers high quality, robust evidence, resolving issues and roadblocks that affect operational efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: Develop a good understanding of the VEO business and VEO data model. Understand the fundamentals of the data sources: What systems does VEO interface with How is the data pulled from these systems How can the pull from each system get automated and (eventually) integrated to form the comprehensive baseline data set Build a VEO reporting hub which will be the single point of entry for all reporting and analytics needs for VEO going forward. Build VEO reports and dashboards: Embrace newer BI technologies such as Power BI to bring a modern look and feel to reporting and dashboards. Take complete ownership and accountability for the VEO Activity Data Generation. Transform this from an excel based to a Power BI version. Proactively identify areas of improvement for reporting and analytics within VEO, especially during key business critical periods such as aPIB or year-end summaries. Transform all existing Cognos based reports to use Power BI technology. Understand and resolve data quality issues encountered by VEO and provide highly interactive reporting capabilities to profile and resolve these. Build \'Forms\' to allow end-user request submissions e.g., the NSR template. Remain current with technology and ensure most advanced features are being utilized in the services being built for VEO - this includes Power BI, Excel as well as other Power App features. Expected Delivery: Must adhere to relevant SOPs and procedures Must work closely with BI Analysts, Business Operation Lead, Business Performance & Analytics Director, Study delivery team and any other VEO colleagues (internal stakeholders) Quick learning, focus on quality and timely delivery.
