Job Summary:IoTSP team is building leading cellular routers and gateways that make a difference to first responders by enabling better access to critical data, helping utility companies to operate their equipment more environmentally responsible in renewable energy, and providing needed connectivity to remote people and equipment.Semtech is looking for developers at different positions to join our Vertical Devices team in Pune, India. In this role you will be working with architects and responsible for developing new features for the AirLink Connection Manager product line and AirLink cellular routers. Looking for passionate developer who will understand customer needs and deliver quality product.Responsibilities:Contribute to development of the features.Participate in design and architectural discussionsDevelop test cases specific to feature and add those to CI framework.Bug fixing which include internal as well as customer issuesBe passionate about the work we do, eager to learn and the difference it makes for our customers.Minimum Qualifications:Developer with proficiency in C++ and PythonGood knowledge of data structures and algorithmsBasic understanding of networking concepts, protocols like TCP/IP, wifi, 4G/5GWorking experience on LinuxVery good analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of github, wiresharkDebugging skill using gdbGood communication skillsBachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electronic/E&TC EngineeringDesired QualificationsSoftware development understanding on embedded Linux especially Yocto. Understanding of Linux networking stack, working experience on open-source packages .Knowledge of security protocol like IPsec
