Datacenter Engineering Group (DPEA-PAIV) is looking for interns for Software Cloud Engineer for cluster and cloud technologies based test content development, management and validation for Intel\'s data center Xeon products. In this position, you will be responsible for technical design, development, deploymen t, monitoring and maintenance of a diverse set of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic stack, etc. This role will include a hands-on opportunity on scalable design, development, measurable automation, full-stack engineering and support of hybrid cloud capabilities and cloud ready contents and services. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Developing and maintaining Intel Xeon platform test content, validation process and methodologies. Automation development using python Developing and maintaining platform cluster validation test plan and BKMs Defining evaluation scope, workloads and coverage to meet the quality goal of Intel server product. Helping in complex cluster issue debugging and support critical quality excursion Work with advanced cutting edge cloud technologies and build a strong and highly skilled team Collaborate with cross-geo teams on cloud infrastructure, innovation and execution. Qualifications Master/Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or relevant technology. Good understanding python, docker, kubernets etc cloud technologies. Basic understanding of CPU microarchitecture firmware platform hardware and software technologies such as BIOS RAS and security features Understanding of Operating System architectures with hands on experience on server system software development and validation Capability to debug complex hardware and software issues related to SW FW Hardware as well as cross domain interaction Excellent communication skills Familiarity with validation and debug tools such as ITP I2C bus analyzers CScripts and system logs is an added Hands on experience on Python, automation technologies.
