This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a future team member for the role of Intermediate Representative, Tax Reporting & Compliance to join our BUSINESS SEGMENT OR CORPORATE ORGANIZATION team. This role is located in Pune- MH / Chennai-TN , HYBRID/REMOTE.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Provides operational support for the preparation and maintenance of tax records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.

• Supports the coordination of tax-related regulatory filings. Gathers required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings.

• Provides status updates on progress of data collection.

• Implements system and operational modifications to comply with more straightforward regulatory changes.

• Updates tax forms and information return layouts. Performs first-level quality assurance of tax deliverables for more complex clients in accordance with department policies.

• Tracks data needed for tax calculations. Reviews work of junior team members, resolves data discrepancies and escalates issues to more senior team members.

• No direct reports. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a business discipline preferred.

• 2-3 years of total work experience preferred.
