Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Interior Project Planner with a strong background in Quantity Surveying (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a keen understanding of project cost estimation, material selection, and resource management.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning : Develop project timelines, milestones, and budgets for interior design projects in collaboration with clients and project stakeholders.
• Quantity Surveying : Estimate and monitor project costs, prepare bills of quantities, and manage cost control from initial budgeting to final invoicing.
• Resource Management : Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to source materials, negotiate prices, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, scope of work, and change orders, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Risk Management : Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions as needed to maintain project timelines and budget.
• Client Interaction : Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide progress updates, and address concerns to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of [specify years, e.g., 3+] years of experience in project planning and quantity surveying, ideally in the interior design or construction sector.
• Basics project management software (e.g., MS Project, or similar any).
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and interior construction processes.
