Job Description

Design Support

• Assisting with Concept Development: Helping in brainstorming sessions and contributing ideas for design concepts and themes.
• Creating Mood Boards: Designing mood boards that represent the aesthetic and feel of a project.
• Drafting Layouts: Preparing preliminary sketches or digital drafts of floor plans and layouts.

Research and Analysis

• Material and Product Research: Researching materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that fit the design criteria.
• Competitor Analysis: Investigating current design trends and analyzing competitors' work to gain insights.

Technical Tasks

• CAD Drawings: Assisting in the creation and revision of CAD drawings and 3D renderings.
• Site Measurements: Taking accurate measurements of spaces to ensure designs fit properly.

Administrative Duties

• Document Management: Organizing and maintaining design documents, project files, and samples.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Helping with scheduling meetings, site visits, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors.

Client Interaction

• Preparing Presentations: Assisting in creating presentations for client meetings, including visual aids and design proposals.
• Client Feedback: Attending client meetings and taking notes on feedback and requirements.

On-Site Experience

• Site Visits: Accompanying senior designers to job sites to observe the implementation of designs and understanding practical aspects of the work.
• Installation Assistance: Helping with the installation of furnishings and decor as part of the final design phase.

Learning and Development

• Shadowing: Observing senior designers to learn about the design process, client interactions, and project management.
• Skill Building: Gaining hands-on experience with design software and tools, and learning industry best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ?10,152.58 - ?15,000.00 per month
