Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Delhi for an
I
nterior Designer
. The
Interior Designer
will be responsible for space planning, interior design, architecture, interior fit-out, and interior architecture. Daily tasks include but are not limited to developing design concepts, preparing presentations of interior spaces and finishes, preparing specifications and cost estimates, collaborating with a team of design professionals, and assisting in the development of design drawings and construction documents.
Responsibilities
Client Consultation
:- Meeting the clients to understand their needs and preferences for the interior space they want to create. Work with other professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure that the design is cohesive and meets all requirements.
Space Planning
: You will be responsible for designing the layout and flow of interior spaces..
Design and Material Selection
: Interior architects will be responsible for selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet the client's
Technical Documentation
: Interior architects create technical documentation, such as drawings and specifications, to communicate the design to other professionals involved in the project. These documents must be accurate and detailed to ensure that the design is executed as intended.
Project Management:
You will be responsible for managing the project from conception to completion. Also, work with contractors and ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Building Codes and Regulations
: You must have a deep understanding of building codes and regulations to ensure that the design meets all safety and accessibility requirements.
Qualification & Employment requirements
Space Planning and Interior Design skills
Architecture and Interior Fit-out skills
2-3 Years Experience in Interior Architecture
Must Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Strong design portfolio showcasing previous work
Proficiency in software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design programs
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and presentation skills
