Job Description

1. Client Consultation:

• Discuss project goals, budget, timeline, and specific needs.
• Understand the client's taste, lifestyle, and functional requirements.

2. Space Planning:

• Develop layouts and floor plans that optimize the use of space.
• Ensure the design meets safety and accessibility standards.

3. Design Concept Development:

• Create mood boards, sketches, and digital renderings to present design ideas.
• Choose color schemes, materials, and finishes that align with the client's vision.

4. Material and Product Selection:

• Select furniture, lighting, textiles, flooring, and other elements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source products.

5. Project Management:

• Oversee the implementation of the design plan.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals.
• Manage the project budget and timeline, ensuring everything stays on track.

6. Documentation:

• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for contractors.
• Document all phases of the project, from initial concepts to final installation.

7. Client Communication:

• Provide regular updates to the client on the project's progress.
• Address any changes or issues that arise during the project.

8. Sustainability and Compliance:

• Incorporate sustainable practices and materials when possible.
• Ensure the design complies with local building codes and regulations.

9. Final Installation:

• Supervise the installation of furniture, decor, and other design elements.
• Make final adjustments to ensure the space is as envisioned.

10. Post-Project Support:

• Offer support after the project is completed, such as addressing any concerns or making small changes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?18,000.00 per month
