Position: Interior Designer intern

Job Overview: Squinch for Designs is looking for a talented Interior Design Intern to join our team in Chevayoor, Calicut. This role is ideal for current students or recent graduates in Interior Design who are passionate about creating innovative and functional spaces. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience and develop skills by working on real residential and commercial projects under the guidance of our experienced designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with client consultations to understand project requirements and design preferences.
• Support in developing creative and practical design solutions.
• Create and refine 3D models, drawings, and presentations for client review.
• Help source materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with project needs and budgets.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to learn about project timelines and quality standards.
• Participate in the installation and staging of interiors.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills, with a willingness to learn.
