Job Overview

• The interior designer is responsible for creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. This role involves planning, designing, and furnishing the interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design plans, including drawings and 3D models, using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Select materials, furniture, and decor that fit the client's budget and requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure design specifications are met.
• Oversee the installation of design elements, including furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and products.
• Prepare project budgets and timelines, and manage them to ensure timely completion.
• Address any issues or changes that arise during the design and implementation phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as an interior designer or relevant role.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design programs.
• Strong portfolio of previous design projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of building codes and inspection regulations.
• Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly design.
• Certification from a recognized design institution (e.g., NCIDQ, ASID).

Working Conditions

• Office environment with frequent site visits.
• Full-time position, with the possibility of overtime depending on project needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
