Job Description

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of design concepts for various interior spaces. This position is suitable for individuals with either limited experience or fresh graduates in the field of interior design. You will work under the guidance of senior designers and project managers to support the design process from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development:
• Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and mood boards.
• Assist in space planning, layout design, and furniture selection.
• Contribute ideas for color schemes, materials, and finishes.
• Visualization:
• Create 2D drawings, sketches, and renderings to communicate design ideas.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, 3D Max for drafting and modeling.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings.
• Material Selection and Specification:
• Research and source materials, furnishings, and accessories appropriate for each project.
• Assist in preparing material boards and specifications for construction documents.
• Project Coordination:
• Support project managers in coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in site visits to ensure design intent is being realized during the construction phase.
• Help maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Documentation:
• Assist in the preparation of drawings, schedules, and documents required for permit applications.
• Organize and maintain project files, drawings, and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Previous internship or work experience in interior design is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
