Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing functional, aesthetically pleasing designs for various spaces, including commercial, residential, and exhibition environments. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and other professionals to create cohesive design solutions that meet clients' needs while adhering to budgetary and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation:
• Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
• Design Development:
• Create innovative design concepts, mood boards, and spatial layouts.
• Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and material boards to communicate design ideas.
• Research and select materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes that align with the project's vision.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the construction and installation process to ensure design intent is realized.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that designs are delivered within scope.
• Technical Documentation:
• Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Client Relations & Presentation:
• Present design proposals and concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine designs.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on design choices and practical considerations.
• Trend Research:
• Stay updated on design trends, materials, and emerging technologies.
• Incorporate sustainable and innovative design solutions when possible.
• Vendor Coordination:
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and furnishings.
• Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure the best pricing and quality.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in commercial, residential, or exhibition projects.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, color theory, and materials.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
• Problem-Solving: Strong creative problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work in relevant design fields.

Working Conditions:

• Occasional site visits and meetings with clients and contractors.
• Ability to travel locally depending on project requirements.
• Flexibility to work extra hours when needed to meet project deadlines.
