: Interior Design Intern

Urban Living Kitchens, a renowned name in the modular kitchen and interior design industry, is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring interior designers. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Interior Design Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. This internship is performance-based and offers the potential for a full-time Junior Designer position upon successful completion.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior designers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Assist in creating innovative and functional modular kitchen and interior designs.
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Infurnia.
• Support the development of design concepts, layouts, and material selections.
• Revise and modify designs based on client feedback.
• Ensure timely and accurate project deliveries.
• Conduct on-site assessments and measurements when required.
• Provide design and operational support to senior team members.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of modular kitchen and interior design principles.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and V-Ray is preferred (training can be provided if required).
• Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership of a laptop for design work and a bike for site visits.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, with a weekday off.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and technology.

Internship Details:

• Duration: 3 months
• Stipend: Performance-based

Post-Internship Opportunity:

• Candidates who successfully complete the internship may be offered a Junior Designer position.
• Salary Range: ?8,000 to ?10,000, based on internship performance.
