Interior Designer

Primary Role: To accurately estimate the costs associated with interior design projects, including materials, labour, and other expenses, ensuring that projects stay within budget.

• Cost Analysis:
• Evaluate design plans and specifications to determine cost estimates.
• Research and obtain quotes for materials, furnishings, and finishes.
• Assess labor costs and subcontractor fees.
• Budget Preparation:
• Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with interior designers to understand design intent and project scope.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to gather accurate pricing information.
• Review and analyze bid proposals and negotiate with vendors as needed.
• Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of cost estimates, quotes, and project changes.
• Prepare and submit reports on cost estimates and budget status.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Knowledge of interior design materials and finishes.
• Communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.

Experience and Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1 years of experience in cost estimation within the interior design industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
