Designer Job Duties Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using software such as AutoCAD Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences and recommending materials, colours and styles that will meet their goals Creating computerized models of designs using specialized computer software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Creating detailed sketches or drawings of furniture pieces or other products that can be used by manufacturers for mass production Meeting with suppliers to select materials that meet the designer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements for quality and cost Developing a thorough understanding of current trends in style so new designs will be desirable to consumers Reviewing existing designs to identify opportunities for improvement or change Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in furniture design, industrial design, or related field 3-5 years professional experience in furniture design Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, or similar software Strong portfolio of previous work Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Salary: 15,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month Benefits:
