Job Title: Interior Designer (2D Factory Drawings)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Designer with expertise in creating 2D factory drawings to join our architectural firm in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design principles and practical experience in developing precise 2D layouts and technical drawings for factory setups and interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• 2D Drawing Creation: Develop detailed 2D factory drawings, layouts, and technical schematics for interior projects.
• Space Planning: Design efficient and functional layouts for factory and interior spaces, ensuring optimal utilization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and implement solutions.
• Material Specifications: Assist in selecting and specifying appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings for factory and interior projects.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate design documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Revisions and Updates: Incorporate feedback from clients and team members to refine and finalize designs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, project specifications, and company guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design with a focus on 2D factory drawings.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of 2D drafting and detailing techniques.
• Design Knowledge: Familiarity with interior design concepts, space planning, and material selection.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in creating technical drawings.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of 3D visualization tools like 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion is an advantage.
• Experience working on factory layouts or industrial interiors is a plus.
