: Industry Expert Faculty Trainer - Interior Design

Position Overview:
Times & Trends Academy - New Thane Campus is seeking a passionate and experienced Industry Expert Faculty Trainer to teach Interior Design courses and diploma programs. The ideal candidate will bring industry expertise, practical insights, and a commitment to empowering students with skills for real-world success. This role combines teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development to deliver impactful training in interior design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Training:
• Deliver engaging and interactive lectures on interior design topics, including design principles, space planning, materials, color theory, CAD, and 3D modeling.
• Conduct hands-on workshops, case studies, and live project simulations to provide practical exposure.
• Facilitate learning experiences that encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students.
• Curriculum Development:
• Collaborate with academic coordinators to design, update, and enhance course materials and syllabi.
• Incorporate the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies into the curriculum.
• Develop student assessments, project briefs, and grading criteria aligned with learning outcomes.
• Industry Insights & Mentoring:
• Share real-world case studies, projects, and success stories to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
• Guide students in creating professional portfolios and preparing for industry placements.
• Provide mentorship on career development and industry readiness.
• Workshops & Events:
• Organize guest lectures, field visits, and workshops with industry leaders.
• Support institute-driven initiatives, exhibitions, and design competitions.
• Quality Assurance:
• Monitor student performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure academic standards are upheld.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in interior design to maintain program relevance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the interior design industry.
• Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Up-to-date knowledge of interior design trends, sustainable practices, and modern design techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional interior design projects.
• Expertise in project management, budgeting, and client presentations.
• Familiarity with international design standards and sustainable design concepts.
