Business Development Manager Interiors
Job Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the market presence of the company in the interiors sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and collaborating with the design and project teams to deliver exceptional interior solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the interiors industry.
o Analyse client needs and market demand to develop tailored business strategies.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
o Identify and approach potential clients, including architects, interior designers, property developers, and corporate clients.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
o Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing the entire project life cycle and addressing any concerns.
3. Sales & Revenue Growth:
o Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
o Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and negotiations to secure new business. o Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals.
4. Project Collaboration:
o Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
o Participate in project briefings and provide input based on client needs and market insights.
5. Networking & Brand Promotion:
o Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and its services.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with business development goals.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including client interactions, sales progress, and market analysis.
o Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development performance and market conditions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the interiors, construction, or related industries.
o Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful client relationships.
Skills:
o Strong understanding of the interiors industry, including design trends, materials, and project management processes.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
o Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Other Requirements:
o Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
