Job Description

As an Interior and Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces in residential, commercial, and public environments. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop design concepts that meet project goals while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development: Create innovative design concepts for interiors and architectural elements that reflect client needs and preferences.

Space Planning: Analyze space requirements and design efficient layouts that enhance functionality and flow.

Material Selection: Research and recommend materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with design objectives and sustainability standards.

Visual Presentations: Prepare detailed design presentations, including sketches, 3D renderings, and mood boards to communicate ideas effectively.

Technical Drawings: Produce accurate architectural and interior drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the design and construction process to ensure project alignment and quality.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.

Project Management: Oversee project timelines and budgets, coordinating schedules and resources to meet deadlines.

Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure design implementation aligns with vision.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Professional experience in interior and architectural design (typically 3-5 years).

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.

Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

Skills:

Strong design and visualization skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of sustainable design practices and trends.

Understanding of lighting design, color theory, and spatial dynamics.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
