Emergent Risk International (ERI) is seeking to hire full-time early career Intelligence Analyst to be embedded with one of our multinational clients, to be based in Hyderabad, India.
Candidates for this role will have an analytical mindset, desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on global threat intelligence analysis, geopolitics, physical security and crisis communications. •This is NOT a remote role. The position will be based in Hyderabad, India and is required to be onsite and in office. •

?? Embedded Analyst Services: ?We support our clients with embedded analysts, full- and part-time, short- and long-term. Our embedded analysts work directly for our clients, allowing them the benefit of employing intelligence professionals trained to ERI's strict standards of competency and continually professionally developed by ERI's senior leadership, armed with access to ERI's proprietary tools and deep backbench of in-house subject matter experts.
What We Are Looking For:
The early career intelligence analyst will support operations by collecting intelligence requirements and assisting with evaluating global crises. The analyst will monitor real-time events, prioritize situations of concern to the company's assets and travelers, and draft operationally-focused products with minimal supervision. The role requires providing timely, accurate, and relevant information in tactical alerts and situation reports. The analyst must be a self-starter, composed under pressure, and possess high-quality written and verbal skills in English.
Primary responsibilities include:
Serve as an intelligence subject matter expert.
Gather and manage information and intelligence about domestic and international events using a variety of OSINT resources, and verify the impact of global crises.
Develop an expert understanding of the client's business model and asset locations, ensuring that all intelligence and reporting is tailored to the client's specific needs.
Draft concise, accurate, and error-free reports.
Apply subject matter expertise to develop methodologies for evaluating and responding to global crises.
Identify events that pose a threat to assets and maintain awareness of political, economic, and security developments.
Understand, interrogate, and visualize high-quality data to draw analytic conclusions and add additional context to analysis and reporting.
Develop and maintain deep knowledge base of sources including OSINT, social media, client databases, sources and archives.
Successfully complete all ERI training, mentorship and other ERI initiatives as appropriate.
Regularly attend ERI Global Team Meetings, webinars and engage with other ERI analysts.
Additional tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Master's degree advantageous), preferably in Political Science, International Relations, or social/regional studies.
Minimum two years' experience with a global threat monitoring team, physical security team, law enforcement investigations, a newsroom or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Superior English language writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Superior research/OSINT skills.
Quick thinking and response time during crisis events.
Ability to receive direct feedback and incorporate corrections quickly. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and locally compliant reference checks and pre-employment drug screening where allowed by law.
Remuneration: This role will be a full-time (40 hours per week) position with pay and benefits commensurate with experience and locally competitive salaries.
