Job Description
\xc2\xa0We are seeking a\xc2\xa0Intellectual Property\xc2\xa0Specialist in our IP team. The incumbent will be\xc2\xa0based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and shall report to Team lead. Roles & Responsibilities\xc2\xa0
- Conduct prior art, patentability, landscape and freedom-to-operate searches.
- Examining patents, file histories, prior art, ongoing litigations, and citizens petitions for possible Paragraph IV and related strategies for ANDA and 505(b)(2) products.
- Provide IP prosecution strategy, including by collaborating with R&D on innovation and drafting patent applications.
- Patent drafting
- Drafting responses during patent prosecution
- Collaborate with external counsel
- Master of Pharmaceutical sciences (Pharmaceutics or technology) or phD;
- Certified training in patent law / LLB
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
- Experience in Intellectual Property (IP), Patent prosecution in various geographies
- Skilled in Patent drafting, and draft responses during patent prosecution
- Skilled in infringement/invalidity analysis, freedom to operate, \xc2\xa0
- Sound knowledge of technologies used in various dosage forms.
- Good analytical skills
- Positive attitude
