Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to identify and evaluate new inventions for strategic value and patentability
• Manage the preparation and prosecution of patent applications to protect key innovations
• Advise on IP strategy, including invention harvesting, patent filings, and other IP matters
• Collaborate with outside counsel on patent application drafting and prosecution
• Conduct freedom-to-operate, patentability, and other IP due diligence to support product development
• Provide training to R&D teams on IP
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of patent law and the patenting process
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with software, hardware, product, and legal teams
