Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating insurance, determining coverage amounts, and processing claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate insurance to determine eligibility and coverage amounts.
• Calculate premiums and establish payment methods.
• Update and maintain employee records and insurance databases.
• Process policy renewals and changes.
• Handle policyholder inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions.
• Review and process insurance claims.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven work experience as an Insurance Specialist or similar role.
• Knowledge of various types of insurance policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with insurance management software is a plus.
