Claims Management:
• Oversee the submission and processing of insurance claims and facilitate timely reimbursement.
• Monitor and follow up on delayed or denied claims to resolve issues promptly.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance laws, regulations, and policies.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and adjust hospital processes accordingly.
Policy Administration:
• Manage the hospital's insurance policies, including renewals and negotiations with insurance providers.
• Ensure that all policies are current and provide adequate coverage for hospital operations.
Patient Interaction:
• Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide clear explanations of their coverage and benefits.
• Resolve patient billing issues and coordinate with the billing department to ensure accurate patient accounts.
Data Management:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all insurance transactions and claims.
• Utilize healthcare management software to track and report on insurance activities.
