RNB Cements is seeking an experienced and skilled Instrumentation General Manager/Head of Department (G.M/HOD) to lead our instrumentation team in our cement industry operations.Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication.
Experience:
Minimum 20 years of experience in the cement industry.
At least 5 years of experience as a Head of Department (HOD).
Key Responsibilities:
Manpower Handling:
Lead and manage a team of instrumentation engineers and technicians.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.
Ensure optimal allocation of manpower for various maintenance activities.
Maintenance Skills:
Oversee preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and shutdown maintenance activities.
Develop maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to minimize downtime.
Implement best practices to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.
Equipment Cost Handling:
Monitor and control instrumentation equipment costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and efficiency.
Field Instruments Experience:
Expert in handling and troubleshooting field instruments such as ZSS, Boot level, Pressure switch, Flow switch, Thermocouple, RTD, Pull card, and Belts way switch.
Ensure accurate calibration and functionality of all field instruments.
Weighing System Skills:
Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Schenck process weigh feeders.
Ensure accurate and reliable weighing processes to support production.
V.F.D Handling:
Experience in handling Variable Frequency Drives (V.F.D) of Siemens and ABB.
Implement and manage V.F.D systems to optimize energy usage and performance.
Gas Analyzer Skills:
Proficient in operating and maintaining gas analyzers.
Ensure accurate monitoring and analysis of gas levels to comply with safety and environmental standards.
Actuator Experience:
Hands-on experience with actuators and their maintenance.
Ensure efficient operation and control of actuators within the plant.
Control Panel Troubleshooting:
Expert in troubleshooting control panels and RI/O panels.
Ensure all control systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Additional Requirements:
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
