Job Overview: I&C Designer with 5-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects. Hand on experience in 3D modelling of Instruments, Telecom equipment, Tray and supports using S3D. Knowledge of E3D will be added advantage.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of Instrument & Control Systems design activities & deliverables including hookups, 3D modelling, layouts and plan drawings, wiring & loop drawings, telecom design, MTOs etc.
- Good command of English (both verbal and in writing).
- Experience with the use of Instrument Database applications (SPI and / or Aveva)
- Experience with use of 2D CAD applications e.g AutoCAD, Microstation, SmartSketch
- Experience with use of 3D modelling in S3D (additional PDMS/E3D experience preferred)
- Hands-on experience in FEED / EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas industry
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Education Dip- Instrumentation or equivalent;
- Required Skills Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
- Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
- Experience 5- 12 years
- Good Communication skills, team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & word
- Able to deal with resistance, Meet deadlines and is able to handle changing needs and requirements.
- Demonstrate understanding of procedures. Actively develop more FEED and EPC knowledge
