Job Description

Position: Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer (Design)


Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.


Experience: 2 to 5 years in Industry experience (Fertilizer/Petrochemical/oil and gas plants)


Software Proficiency: Proficient in CAD Tools such as AutoCAD, SPI-INTOOLS, AVEVA - E3D, and 3D Model review software.


Responsibilities:


• Obtain and assimilate relevant design input from Lead Engineer and other project stakeholders, incorporating it into deliverables.


• Ensure preparation of design deliverables in compliance with applicable Codes & Standards.


• Coordinate promptly with other Engineering disciplines for seamless project integration.


• Check and review all documents/drawings before release at any Revision status.


• Assist lead in Work planning, progress monitoring, and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.


• Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and support departmental functions effectively.


• Apply knowledge of standards, codes, engineering tools, and software in daily tasks.


• Utilize instrument sizing software and analyze Piping/Civil Structural & other discipline drawings.


• Select instrument hook-up standards for different types of Instruments.


• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.

• Knowledge of instrument calibration, loop checking, and commissioning processes.


• Understanding of safety standards and regulations related to instrumentation and control systems.


• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.


• Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus.
