Job Description
We\'re hiring a Instrumental Music Teacher for an IGCSE School in Mysore, Karnataka.Instrumental teachers are good at motivating students to learn instruments, guiding them through their levels of learning, managing classroom situations or 1-1s and creating fun and engaging curriculum for their students.Tools of the trade:
- Being an inspirational and motivational teacher
- Being musically competent and knowledgeable about the instrument or subject you are teaching
- High level of teamwork
- High level of understanding and compassion
- Being able to work with children and young people
- Work on a one to one basis and with small and large groups of children
- Being able to manage challenging behaviour
- Be self-motivated, adaptable, reliable and efficient
- Good time keeping and work ethic
- Bachelor\'s degree in Music.
- Prior experience in school is preferable.
- Proven experience in teaching music to students of various age groups.
- Excellent communication skills Verbal & Written.
